Movie adaptation of the opera composed by Ferenc Erkel in 1861, based on the historical stage play of the same title by József Katona.
On the National Day of Hungarian Culture, the 22nd of January 2016, Urania screens the movie as a tribute to the lately deceased, legendary Hungarian cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond, winner of an Oscar award for his achievements on Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
