Edit (Mari Törőcsik), wife of a politician, is suddenly widowed as a result of an accident. She did not love her husband, her sons do not understand her, she has no real friends, thus the woman suddenly finds herself in a completely lonely, isolated space. This is an Existentialist-inspired, Modernist film drama, the second work in the hugely fertile early part (three feature films in three years) of Márta Mészáros’s career.
