Vincent is an average and boring forty-something who is struggling to get back on his feet after a breakup. One day, this seemingly ordinary man falls prey to a terrifying and unexplained phenomenon: anyone who catches his eye suddenly feels an irrepressible urge to kill him. To survive, Vincent tries to interact as little as possible with people, to no avail. Soon, it’s like the whole world is after him. He crosses paths with Margot, whom he brings along for the ride in spite of himself…
After making a big splash at the Critics’ Week in Cannes, Vincent doit mourir is finally reaching the shores of Neuchâtel! This unique film mixes paranoid thriller, zombie movie, dark comedy, and romance to vehemently condemn today’s social violence. The amazing Karim Leklou and Vimala Pons are at the top of their game. An intense and exhilarating cinematic experience.
